Description

Warm up on chilly days with this delicious Fireball Apple Cider, a cozy cocktail combining spicy Fireball whiskey with hot apple cider and garnished with cinnamon sugar, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise for a festive touch.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
  • 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey

Optional Garnishes

  • 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for rimming)
  • Cinnamon Sugar (for rimming)
  • Red Apple Slices
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Whole Star Anise

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass Rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate. Dip the rim of your serving glass into the apple cider so that the rim is evenly coated.
  2. Coat with Cinnamon Sugar: Spread cinnamon sugar on a clean plate. Carefully dip the wet rim of the glass into the cinnamon sugar, coating it thoroughly without washing it away.
  3. Add Fireball Whiskey: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball whiskey into the glass, taking care not to disturb the cinnamon sugar rim.
  4. Add Hot Apple Cider: Gently pour 5 ounces of hot apple cider into the glass. The drink will mix naturally as you pour.
  5. Prepare Apple Slice Garnish: Stack three thin slices of red apple on a cocktail pick and fan them out. Position the pick so its top rests on the front side of the glass, slightly to the side.
  6. Add Final Garnishes: Place a cinnamon stick in the glass opposite the apple fan garnish. Drop a couple of whole star anise pods into the glass for added aroma and decoration. Serve immediately and enjoy your warming Fireball Apple Cider!

Notes

  • For an extra festive presentation, chill the glass before preparing the rim.
  • You can adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey based on your preferred strength.
  • Use fresh hot apple cider for the best flavor; avoid overly sweetened versions.
  • Optional garnishes enhance both flavor and aesthetics but can be omitted if preferred.
