Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
- 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey
Optional Garnishes
- 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for rimming)
- Cinnamon Sugar (for rimming)
- Red Apple Slices
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Whole Star Anise
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass Rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate. Dip the rim of your serving glass into the apple cider so that the rim is evenly coated.
- Coat with Cinnamon Sugar: Spread cinnamon sugar on a clean plate. Carefully dip the wet rim of the glass into the cinnamon sugar, coating it thoroughly without washing it away.
- Add Fireball Whiskey: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball whiskey into the glass, taking care not to disturb the cinnamon sugar rim.
- Add Hot Apple Cider: Gently pour 5 ounces of hot apple cider into the glass. The drink will mix naturally as you pour.
- Prepare Apple Slice Garnish: Stack three thin slices of red apple on a cocktail pick and fan them out. Position the pick so its top rests on the front side of the glass, slightly to the side.
- Add Final Garnishes: Place a cinnamon stick in the glass opposite the apple fan garnish. Drop a couple of whole star anise pods into the glass for added aroma and decoration. Serve immediately and enjoy your warming Fireball Apple Cider!
Notes
- For an extra festive presentation, chill the glass before preparing the rim.
- You can adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey based on your preferred strength.
- Use fresh hot apple cider for the best flavor; avoid overly sweetened versions.
- Optional garnishes enhance both flavor and aesthetics but can be omitted if preferred.
