Description

Homemade Bomb Pops are a fun and colorful frozen treat made by layering blue, white, and red juices in popsicle molds. This simple recipe uses three different juices to create patriotic popsicles perfect for summer parties or a refreshing snack on a hot day.

Ingredients

Scale

Blue Layer

  • 1 cup blue Hawaiian punch, blue Kool Aid, or blue sports drink

White Layer

  • 1 cup lemonade (or a mix of water and white grape juice)

Red Layer

  • 1 cup red Hawaiian punch, cherry juice, or fruit punch

Instructions

  1. Prepare Blue Layer: Pour 1-2 tablespoons of blue juice into each popsicle pouch, filling about one-third full. Freeze for 30-45 minutes, until the layer is slightly firm but not completely frozen.
  2. Add White Layer: Pour 1-2 tablespoons of lemonade over the frozen blue layer, filling another third of the pouch. Freeze again for 30-45 minutes until this layer is slightly firm.
  3. Finish with Red Layer: Pour 1-2 tablespoons of red juice over the frozen white and blue layers, filling the molds completely to the top. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until fully solid.
  4. Remove Popsicles: Run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to loosen the popsicles and easily remove them from the molds.

Notes

  • To get clear layers, allow each layer to freeze slightly before adding the next.
  • You can substitute juices with other flavors or colors to create different variations.
  • Use popsicle molds or pouches designed for layered frozen treats.
  • Freezing times may vary depending on freezer settings.
