Description

These Pillsbury Biscuit Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring flaky biscuit dough filled with gooey mozzarella cheese and coated in a flavorful garlic butter parsley glaze. Perfectly golden and irresistibly cheesy, they make a crowd-pleasing snack or party treat in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese Bombs

  • 1 can (8-count) Pillsbury Grands! flaky layer biscuits
  • 8 pieces mozzarella cheese, cubed (about 1-inch each)

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prepare for baking.
  2. Prepare Biscuits: Separate the biscuits from the can and flatten each one slightly using your hands to create a surface for filling.
  3. Fill Biscuits: Place one cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit, then fold the dough around the cheese, pinching the edges tightly to seal the cheese inside.
  4. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have enough space to expand while baking.
  5. Make Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt, mixing thoroughly to create a flavorful brush-on sauce.
  6. Brush Biscuits: Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of each sealed biscuit ball to coat them evenly.
  7. Bake: Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve the cheese bombs warm for the best gooey and buttery experience.

Notes

  • Use fresh mozzarella cubes for best melting results; pre-shredded cheese may not melt as evenly.
  • You can substitute fresh parsley with dried parsley if needed, but reduce the quantity as dried herbs are more concentrated.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic according to your preference for a milder or stronger garlic flavor.
  • Serve with marinara sauce as a dipping option to add a tangy contrast.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best texture; avoid microwaving to prevent sogginess.
